A lightweight browser alternative
QtWeb Internet Browser is a basic, lightweight web browser for Windows that offers a few nice perks.
If you have experience with browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox, QtWeb Internet Browser doesn't really offer anything new per se. It's certainly not all that different from Chrome, Opera, Safari, or other browsers in its class. And, unlike the newer browsers like Flock and RockMelt, QtWeb Internet Browser doesn't even offer any built-in social networking features to speak of.
What QtWeb Internet Browser does offer, however, is an alternative to some of the heavier, more social media-laden browsers currently available for download. The program installs in a matter of seconds, and it's just as quick to begin on start-up. For someone who wants a lightning fast browser and isn't concerned about having extensions or added social media integration, QtWeb is a good option to consider.
In addition, QtWeb Internet Browser also offers a compatibility view where you can see how web pages look in other major browsers like Firefox and Internet Explorer. Another nice feature is the detachable side bar. You can move it from the right hand side of QtWeb Internet Browser's browser window to the left hand side by simply clicking and dragging. It can also be situated on the top or the bottom of the window.
QtWeb Internet Browser doesn't break new ground in the web browser market, but it does offer a useful lightweight alternative.
